Research Scientist / Senior Mechanical Engineer
- Develop advanced computational mechanics and finite element analysis (FEA) solutions.
- Design, implement, and validate engineering simulation algorithms.
- Apply artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques to engineering applications.
- Develop high-performance software in C++ and Python.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of engineers, researchers, and software developers.
- Contribute to product innovation, research initiatives, and technical strategy.
- Strong background in mechanical engineering, applied physics, or a related field, with experience in research and development of mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in modeling and simulation techniques (e.g., FEA, CFD, or multibody dynamics) and in numerical methods and data analysis.
- Proficiency in developing computational codes from basic principles.
- Proficiency in software development, parallelization, and optimization.
- Proficiency in C++ and Python.
- Experience applying artificial intelligence / machine learning techniques.
- Effective technical communication skills, including writing clear reports, documentation, and presentations for diverse audiences.
- Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams and managing tasks across multiple projects and deadlines.
- Master's or Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related discipline preferred; relevant industry or research experience strongly valued.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality, ethical, and safe engineering practices.
